Man killed in Stockton shooting, police investigating

STOCKTON – A man died after a shooting in Stockton Saturday night, police said.

The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Martin Luther King Boulevard Jr. Boulevard and Aurora Street. 

Officers said they found a man in his 40s suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. 

No suspect information was known. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police department. 

The victim was later identified as 46-year-old Raymond Rodriguez of Stockton.
