Man Killed In Moving Van Near Playground In South Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man is found shot dead near a local playground and now the search is on for the killer.
The shooting happened near Vintage Park Drive, just feet away from a playground. The victim was found slumped over the steering wheel of a Lugo's Moving Service van with a gunshot wound.
A witness said he heard the shot and saw two men run away with guns.
Witnesses say they saw marijuana in the truck and outside of the truck, but police won't confirm if it's a drug deal gone bad.
Family members say the victim is a father of 10 children.
