Man Killed By CHP Officers In Turlock

TURLOCK, Calif. (CBS13) -- A man was shot and killed by CHP officers during a confrontation late Saturday night, but few details on the circumstances of the incident have been released.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department said officers received a report that a potentially armed man showing suicidal behavior was spotted on the 10000 block of Crowslanding Road at around 9:18 p.m.

CHP officers opened fire shortly after arriving on scene, fatally wounding the man. The details on the actions leading up to the shooting have not been released.
