Man in critical condition after shooting east of Land Park in south Sacramento
SACRAMENTO — A man was left in critical condition after being shot in the south Sacramento area, police said Wednesday night.
The Sacramento Police Department said it happened outside a home just after 6 p.m. near Wilmington Avenue and 28th Street, just east of William Land Park.
The man has since been taken to an area hospital.
Sacramento police said witnesses reported there was possibly a second victim who drove themself to the hospital. However, police have not been able to locate that individual.
The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation. There were no details on a suspect.
