Man Hit And Killed While Running Across I-80 At Madison Avenue After Crash
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) - One man is dead after he was struck by a car on Interstate 80 near Madison Avenue.
According to a CHP spokesperson, four vehicles and big rig were involved in the crash on Wednesday morning. Two of the cars colliding, sending one car into the center divide.
The driver of the car that hit the center divide -- a man in his 30s -- got out of the vehicle and tried to run to across the freeway, but was hit and killed. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Officers say the car that hit the center divide may have been speeding.
