Man Gets 50-To-Life For Murder In Fairfield Store
FAIRFIELD, Calif. (AP) -- A 24-year-old Fairfield man has been ordered to serve 50 years to life in prison for the fatal shooting of a clerk at a cell phone store.
The Vacaville Reporter says Kevin Moore was sentenced Friday for the killing of 20-year-old Diego Navarro-Martinez during a robbery of Metro PCS cell phone store in 2009.
In sentencing Moore, Solano County Superior Court Judge Peter Foor told him that he would have to serve a minimum of 85 percent of his sentence before being considered for parole.
But Solano County Chief Deputy District Attorney Jack Allen said it is unlikely that that Moore would ever be granted paroled.
