Man Found Shot Near Patterson; His SUV Stolen

STANISLAUS COUNTY (CBS13) - Stanislaus County deputies are looking for clues after a man was shot near Patterson and his SUV was stolen.

The man was discovered laying near a corn field in the 2600 block of Orange Avenue at around 1 p.m. He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where his condition is unknown.

His green 2007 Toyota SUV was stolen. It had California license plate 6AND659. Its occupants are believed to be armed and dangerous.

Deputies are trying to piece together the events that led up to the shooting.
