Man Found Dead Inside Running Truck In South Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A man has been found shot to death in his truck in South Sacramento, according to Sacramento Police.

Police say they were called to the 100 block of Decathlon Circle in South Sacramento just before midnight on Tuesday. When they arrived, officers found the body of a 51-year-old man inside a running pick-up truck.

The victim's name has not been released, but police say he is a white man and a resident of south Sacramento.

Police do not believe the shooting is gang-related. The investigation is continuing.
