Man Dies After Shooting At Citrus Heights Home
CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – Officers say a man was shot dead by a female suspect at a Citrus Heights home early Saturday morning.
The incident happened along the 6000 block of Cheshire Way. Citrus Heights Police say officers were called to a home just after 2:30 a.m. after a reported shooting.
Once at the scene, officers found that a man had been shot. Despite the efforts from first responders, the man soon died at the scene.
Investigators say a woman who knew the man is the suspect in the shooting. She has been arrested and is facing a charge of involuntary manslaughter. She, and the man killed in the incident, are not being identified by police at this time.
Police note that everyone at the home is cooperating with the investigation.
