Man Beaten By Group With Baseball Bats In Woodland

WOODLAND (CBS13) - A San Jose man was beaten by a group of people carrying baseball bats early Thursday morning in Woodland

Police say they received a call at 1:51 a.m. that a man had been beaten and was left bleeding in the 1200 block of Alice Street. When they arrived, they found Bong Kim, 43, of San Jose sitting in the passenger seat of his truck bleeding from his face and head.

Kim says he was sitting inside his parked truck when three to four men walked up and began yelling at him. They hit is truck and hit him then left.

Kim was taken by ambulance to the Woodland Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and later released.

Police say they do not have a description of the suspects.
