Man Attempts Carjacking During High-Speed Pursuit
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A man is behind bars after leading police on a chase from Sacramento to Dixon.
Officers say they first tried to pull over the suspect on Diaz and Stockton Boulevard in South Sacramento.
However, the suspect did not stop and sped away at up to 90 miles an hour.
Officers say at one point during the pursuit on Highway 50, the suspect jumped out of his car and attempted a carjacking but failed.
He got back in his car and sped off again before stopping on Pedrick Road.
That suspect is now facing a number of charges.
No other information was immediately available.
