Man Arrested In Series Of Child Molest Cases, Citrus Heights Police Fear More Victims

CITRUS HEIGHTS (CBS13) – Citrus Heights police have arrested a man on child molest charges and are asking for help in identifying more of his alleged victims.

Detectives began investigating a child molestation case back in April and identified 30-year-old Ryan Matthew Haley of Rancho Cordova as the suspect. During their investigation, police discovered several other victims and they believe there are more.

Detectives say some of the cases involving Haley date back to 1996 when he lived in Citrus Heights. All of Haley's alleged victims were known to Haley and were either at his home for child care purposes or were friends of family members.

Police have identified several of Haley's alleged victims but they believe "many" others are still unknown. In the past, Haley has lived on Daffodil Way and Villa Oak Drive in Citrus Heights, as well as Italia Way in Rancho Cordova.

Police arrested Haley on May 17 on two charges of child molest. He is currently being held in the Sacramento County Jail awaiting trial.

Haley is described as a white man, 6 feet tall weighing 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

If you have any information about Haley or any possible victims in this case you are asked to call the Citrus Heights Police Department, Investigative Services Division or contact our dedicated crime tip line at 916-727-5524.
