Man Arrested For Raping Teen In Lake County
LOWER LAKE, Calif. (CBS13) -- Lake County investigators arrested a man Saturday afternoon after he allegedly attacked a teen girl in a park bathroom.
Bryan Keith Hurtado-Stratton, 20, was arrested at his home on charges of rape by force, sexual battery and lewd and lascivious acts on a child under 14 years of age less than one hour after Lake County Sheriff's deputies received the report of the alleged attack at Lower Lake Community Park.
Hurtado-Stratton allegedly attacked the 13-year-old girl just after noon and fled after being spotted by the victim's brother.
Deputies quickly identified Hurtado-Stratton as a suspect and executed a probation search on his home, which was only a few blocks from the site of the incident. Investigators said they found additional evidence inside his home.
Hurtado-Stratton is in custody at Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility on $500,000 bail.
