Man Accused Of Raping Teen Girls

HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. (CBS13) -- Deputies arrested a man for allegedly providing two Lake County students with alcohol and then sexually assaulting them on Monday.

Frank Joseph Vivero, 20, was arrested Tuesday morning after the Lake County Sheriff's Department alleged that he had raped two 14-year-old girls after drinking with them for much of Monday afternoon at Coyote Valley Elementary School.

Deputies first responded to the school at 5:20 p.m. Monday to investigate reports of several students drinking on campus. Authorities found a 14-year-old girl who was unconscious and said Vivero was spotted walking away from the school with several other juveniles.

Vivero was initially arrested for public intoxication and contributing to the delinquency of a minor and bailed out of jail later that evening.

The unconscious teen was transported to the hospital, and investigators learned that a second teen was taken to a Napa County hospital by her mother.

After interviewing the alleged victims, investigators tracked down Vivero at his Hidden Valley Lake home and arrested him on a number of additional charges, including rape of a drugged victim and rape of a victim incapable of giving consent.

Vivero is being held on $300,000 bail.
