Man Accused Of More Than 100 Vandalism Incidents

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Police have arrested an alleged prolific tagger who is accused of vandalizing more than 100 locations over the past few years.

The Sacramento Police Department said 21-year-old Nicholas Larson is responsible for dozens of illegal graffiti tags in midtown Sacramento under the moniker "Reid" and "Reidel."

After investigating the rash of vandalisms for years, Sacramento code enforcement and Sacramento Police officers searched Larson's home on Thursday, finding graffiti tools and controlled substances they believe were intended for sale.

Authorities said the tagging cost the city and private businesses thousands of dollars of years to clean up.
