Magnitude-2.9 Earthquake Rattles Sonoma County
MENLO PARK (CBS) — A 2.9-magnitude earthquake rattled Sonoma County Monday morning.
The tremor was recorded at 7:35 a.m. about 7 miles northwest of Napa at an estimated depth of 5.3 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey
There were no immediate reports of damage.
KPIX-TV reports that over 200 people reported feeling the quake in Napa.
The magnitude-6.0 earthquake that struck southern Napa County on August 24, 2014 caused significant damage in Napa and Vallejo.
