Lt. Gov. Newsom Announces Birth Of 2nd Child

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and his wife, Jennifer Siebel, are the proud parents of a baby boy.

A Newsom spokesman says the couple's second child, Hunter Siebel Newsom, was born in San Francisco at 9:18 a.m. Sunday.

The boy is 20.5 inches long and weighs eight pounds, four ounces.

It's the second child for the couple. They have a daughter, Montana, who is 20-months-old.

Newsom was elected lieutenant governor in November 2010. Previously he had served as San Francisco's mayor for two terms.
