Light Fixture May Be To Blame For Large Modesto Fire
MODESTO, Calif. (CBS13) – A light fixture may be to blame for a massive fire that heavily damaged a home in Modesto overnight.
Flames broke out at the home on Northcrest Court, just off Hashem Drive.
Fire fighters say they could see the fire from the station five blocks away.
Investigators think a can light may have gotten too close to something in the attic sparking the fire.
Crews estimate at least $250,000 of damage was done to the home.
No one was hurt in the blaze.
