Lice Outbreak Spreads At Carmichael School

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ― There is a lot of itching and scratching going on at a Carmichael elementary school where a lice outbreak has forced dozens of students to leave class.

Officials at Del Dayo Elementary School say one out of every ten children checked had lice.

Thirty students were sent home and ten others were sent home last week. 

All the kids who were sent home will have to be checked out by the office before they will be allowed back to class.
