Lexus Video Teases 'Real' Hoverboard
SACRAMENTO (CBS Sacramento) - We're already halfway through 2015, and many of the promises made in the "Back to the Future" series have not yet come true: anti-gravity vehicles and time machines are not buzzing around a roadless Hill Valley.
But "Back to the Future's" coolest idea may be finally become a reality, reports engadget.
Lexus says it has developed the first working, real, rideable hoverboard.
The luxury auto maker released the latest video in its "Amazing in Motion" series. Lexus says the board is magnetic, with liquid nitrogen-cooled superconducters, and made from a Lexus grille and natural bamboo.
There's no word on when such a thing might go on sale, but the company promises to keep bringing regular updates.
