Last Remaining Downtown Davis Homicide Suspect Arrested
DAVIS (CBS13) – The remaining suspect in a downtown Davis homicide at a popular restaurant is now under arrest.
Police say 20-year-old Joseph Sandeno was taken into custody Saturday following a traffic stop in Vacaville. He's accused of being connected to the killing of college student Peter Alexander Gonzalez, who was killed at KetMoRee while visiting Davis for his sister's wedding in September.
"It makes me feel better, safer that they are finding out who did this stuff, taking steps to make sure this doesn't happen again," said Davis resident Daniel Taveras.
Four other men had already been arrested in connection to the incident.
Sandeno is due in court for his arraignment this coming week.
The Davis City Council also approved a temporary moratorium on new bars following the Gonzalez' death.
