LA's Famed Magic Castle Catches Fire

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Fire has erupted in Hollywood's landmark Magic Castle.

The Los Angeles Fire Department says more than 100 firefighters have been dispatched to the scene following the first report of fire at 12:35 p.m. Monday.

The Magic Castle is a private club for the Academy of Magical Arts and has been a venue for magic shows and dining since the 1960s.

The ornate structure was built as a private home in the early 1900s.
