Kings Players Mulling Charity Exhibition Game

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- If the NBA won't schedule the games, the players just might do it themselves.

Kings forward Donte Greene told KHTK host Carmichael Dave on Wednesday he hopes to organize a charity game the weekend before Thanksgiving, bringing to fruition an idea from a Twitter follower.

Greene said the game is still in its early planning stage, but added that he hopes to hold the match at UC Davis.

A number of players have already expressed interest and Greene said he hopes to put together two very competitive teams.

Greene said the game will raise money for charities, most notably for breast cancer research.
