Kings End Losing Streak With 99-70 Victory Over Bulls

The Sacramento Kings ended a seven-game losing streak Monday night with a 99-70 victory over the Chicago Bulls.
DeMarcus Cousins made his comeback for Sacramento after missing six games due to a sprained ankle.
"I shouldn't have been playing tonight. Once I got to the point that I could play through the pain I was ready to go," Cousins said following the win.
The Kings leading scorer and rebounder finished with 25 points and 16 rebounds. The game grew chippy and Cousins received his 12th technical this season nine minutes into the third quarter.
Chicago's Joakim Noah also received a technical in the third. Less than three minutes later he picked up his second technical after being called for a personal foul against Cousins. He was ejected and didn't leave the court quietly.
Cousins was asked about Noah's reaction to the officials after being ejected.
"At the end of the day we are all human and we all have emotions. Everyone gets frustrated so he spoke his mind, it happens."
The Kings held the Bulls to 70 points and 28 percent shooting—the lowest opponent field goal percentage in the Sacramento era.
"We helped each other out and stuck to our defensive principle," Rudy Gay said while talking about the team executing defensively as a team.
Gay scored 14 points and shot 50 percent from the field while Isaiah Thomas added 19 points shooting 7 for 9 but did not attempt a three-pointer.
It was the first game since Thomas's rookie season that he has not shot a three pointer. He attempted 29 threes in the previous four games.
Sacramento will take on the Toronto Raptors Wednesday night at Sleep Train Arena.
