Keith Brooks & Carmichael Dave Show - October 9, 2013
Keith and Dave spent a good chunk of the morning talking about the A's after yesterday's back-and-forth outing against the Tigers, in which lead changes, questionable home run calls, and a lack of timely hitting and/or strategy stole the headlines. With Bob Melvin leaving it open for speculation as to who will start game five for Oakland, there were plenty of topics up for discussion in regards to playoff baseball.
The guys questioned whether Jhonny Peralta (and other PED cheats, for that matter) should be eligible for postseason play, whether the A's can step up and win just their second series-clinching game since 1990, and if Sonny Gray should start over Bartolo Colon on Thursday.
They also briefly touched on the updated NFL power rankings and the sad saga of a man that was assaulted by a snaggle-toothed stripper.
