Keith Brooks and Carmichael Dave - July 8, 2013
Today marked the triumphant return to the KHTK airwaves of Carmichael Dave on the maiden voyage of the Keith Brooks and Carmichael Dave show. Keith and Dave led off the show by discussing Dwight Howard's signing with the Houston Rockets and whether or not the Rockets are now a championship contender.
The guys then moved on to the sign-and-trade deal that sent Tyreke Evans to New Orleans in exchange for point guard Greivis Vasquez and who was on the right side of that deal.
After then spending some time discussing Urban Meyer's role in the Aaron Hernandez debacle, Keith and Dave batted around the five big questions of the day with the two misfits in the control room, Producer Mike D and Nate (perhaps better known as Alvin Qaeda). All four members of the team then gave their "three up, three down" for the weekend, laying out three things whose stock is rising as well as three that are falling.
Heading into the final hour, the guys played their "Big Call", a mashup of audio from around the world of sports over the weekend. To close things out, it was determined that Mike D had the most error-ridden performance of the day and will thus be obligated to embarrass himself publicly in a move to be determined at a later date.
