Coroner: 6 Died Due To June Heatwave In Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Sacramento County coroner confirms six people died as a result of this June's heatwave.
Autopsy results are now complete and they show each victim died from exposure to heat during a series of triple-digit days across the Sacramento region.
Three of the victims were found indoors with no air conditioner running and three others collapsed outside.
Half of the victims were in their eighties, according to the coroner's office.
