Rancho Cordova Man Arrested For Fatally Stabbing Wife
RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) - After being hospitalized for several days, a Rancho Cordova man has been arrested in connection to the fatal stabbing of his wife.
Sacramento sheriff's detectives arrested 32-year-old Khiem Thuong Tran Saturday and booked him into Sacramento County Jail for murder.
On Thursday, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 3500 block of Granby Drive, and found Tran's wife dead from multiple stab wounds.
Tran was found with a non-life threatening stab wound to the chest and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators believe Tran's injury was self-inflicted.
Upon his release Saturday, he was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
The identity of Tran's wife is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
