Hundreds Line Up For Free Healthcare In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Hundreds of people are getting free health care at a clinic at Cal Expo in Sacramento this weekend.

The first person in line waited for more than 24 hours to get a ticket for today's clinic and hundreds more are prepared to wait as long as it takes to get screened.

The four day event is hosted by the Remote Area Clinic.

Dozens of doctors and dentists that volunteer their time will help the uninsured by giving teeth cleanings, breast exams and even x-rays and other medical services.

The event continues through the weekend until Monday.
