Human Remains Found In Yolo County Creek
YOLO COUNTY (CBS13) - A disturbing discovery in Yolo County as a group of hunters found human bones in a dried up creek bed.
A two-day search by sheriff's investigators revealed more remains.
Investigators are not saying exactly where the bones were discovered in case the scene still holds more clues.
"We may be going out to do further searches," said Yolo County Sheriff's Department Lt. Martin Torres. "We don't want to contaminate scene in case it is suspicious."
The bones were sent to Chico for forensic testing and confirmed to be from a human.
Testing is now being done to determine the age and sex of the person.
