Human Remains Found In Yolo County Creek
YOLO COUNTY, Calif. (CBS13) -- Human remains were found in more than one location along a Yolo County creek yesterday, according to authorities.
Yolo County Sheriff Ed Prieto said hunters stumbled on the bones in a creek that recently dried up, and when investigators launched a full search of the nearby area Tuesday, they found additional remains within a mile and a half of the initial discovery.
The identity of the deceased person and the cause of death are unknown.
Forensic analysis will be done at Chico State University.
