House Party Leads To Deadly Shooting

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CBS13) -- One person was killed and four others wounded after a house party ended with a shooting, authorities said.

The Sacramento Police Department said a party at a home on the 3800 block of Fig Street turned violent when a fight broke out. The suspect -- described as a black male adult, between 20-25 years old, 6'0"-6'3", 170-190 pounds -- allegedly opened fire, wounding five people.

Officers found two wounded men at the scene and rushed them to the hospital, where one of them later died.

Three other victims transported themselves to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Sacramento Police arrested 23-year-old Michael Walton for the shooting at about 8:20 p.m. Sunday.
