UPDATE: 1 Man Killed, Another Injured In Loomis House Fire
LOOMIS (CBS13) - Investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire in Loomis that left one man dead and another man injured.
The fire started on Sunday at 5 p.m. at a home off Bankhead Road, in the garage that had been converted to a bedroom.
Firefighters say the majority of damage at the home was caused by smoke.
"They were in critical condition by the time they were dragged out of the structure," said Cal Fire Battalion Chief Jim Mathias.
Fire officials do not suspect foul play.
Authorities say the older of the two victims died.
