Group Home Set On Fire In South Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Firefighters extinguished a house fire in a South Sacramento neighborhood after a resident apparently set the structure ablaze on purpose.
The Sacramento Fire Department searched the group home on Driad Court carefully after receiving reports that a girl was still trapped inside, but no victims were found. The missing resident apparently walked away from the home out of eyesight from the other residents.
Officials say the fire was intentionally set by one of the residents. The suspect, Ornean McCloud is in custody.
No injuries have been reported.
