Home Invasion Suspects Demand Money And Marijuana
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Two suspects have been arrested after they allegedly broke into a home in Sacramento overnight, say police.
It was a little after midnight when the first call came into 9-1-1. The armed suspects reportedly made their way into the house on 38th Avenue and demanded money and marijuana from the residents.
One person inside the home was reportedly hit with the butt of a suspect's shotgun. Sacramento police Officer Pam Seyffert says one shot may have been fired. A spent shell was found in the backyard of the home.
When police arrived they saw one of the suspects leaving the house and arrested him. The other suspect was able to get out of the house, but was taken down by a police dog in the backyard of a home two houses away.
