1 Dead In Highway 65 Crash In Placer County
9 p.m. UPDATE: A three-vehicle crash on Highway 65 claimed the life of one person and injured five others.
The California Highway Patrol says speed was a likely factor in the Placer County crash.
The crash also sparked a fire that burned about 1.5 acres.

PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) — At least one person is dead after a crash on Highway 65 on Tuesday.
The California Highway Patrol says three vehicles were involved in the crash on northbound Highway 65 near Wise Road in Placer County.
One of the cars went off the roadway and started a small fire that was extinguished.
The crash has closed northbound Highway 65.
