Here We Start: Kings Open In Sacramento For 2nd Time In A Decade
(KHTK, Sports 1140) The last full NBA season that opened in Sacramento was the welcoming of a King. This time around, it will be a long awaited, and much anticipated return of the Kings.
Thanksgiving comes early this year for Kings fans and a day before children fill the streets of Sacramento dressed as ghouls, goblins, Poke-man & princesses, 17,000+ fans will dress as what they are on Halloween and every other day of the year, Kings fans. What a treat it will be.
The Kings open the season versus Denver on October 30th, followed by a visit from CP3 and the Clippers before heading west to Oakland for their first road game of the year. Sacramento will play eight of their first ten games at home inside Sleep Train Arena, a stretch that includes back-to-back games against 2012-13 Rookie Of The Year Damian Lillard and a visit from Coach Kidd and his Nets.
The team is slated for six nationally televised games, including Friday, November 15th at home against Detroit on ESPN. The season will also end at home this year versus Phoenix on April 16th.
As always, your complete coverage of every LIVE Kings game broadcast (including Pre/Half/Post-game) will happen on your home for Kings basketball, KHTK Sports 1140.
Long Live The Kings.
