Group Racing To Save Roseville Theater
ROSEVILLE (CBS13) - A local theater company is racing against the clock to keep the curtain from closing on their operation forever.
Roseville's Civic Theater is hoping to raise $350,000 by Wednesday to reopen.
The theater group closed last month deep in debt.
So far they've raised $60,000 but they still have a long way to go.
" We obviously have a long way to go, we're hoping to get a Christmas miracle this week to keep the doors open including the youth workshops open which have served hundreds if not thousands of children," said Play Director Ryan Adame.
The theater group says if they can't raise all of the money, they'll be forced to return the money they've raised to donors so far.
