Grinch Steals Christmas By Stealing Stockton Family's Grinch Christmas Decoration
STOCKTON (CBS13) — A real-life Grinch stole Christmas from a Stockton home by stealing their Grinch Christmas decoration.
The Grinch was on the lawn only one night before someone stole it.
"It was surprising that someone could do that for the holidays," said Sondra Ryan. "You know you are just taking away from the kids."
This was the first time the family had decorated since experiencing a series of tragedies.
Ryan says the hardest part was explaining the theft to their 7-year-old grandson who stayed at their home the night before just to see the yard decorated.
They are hopeful the thief will return the Grinch, or that someone will help them track down the local family who sold the hand-painted decorations on Pacific Avenue last Christmas.
