Governor Discusses Why Californians Should Vote To Raise Taxes
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Gov. Jerry Brown sat down for a one-on-one interview with CBS13 to tell us why he thinks Californians should vote to raise their own taxes.
"Right off the bat, tuition will go up at the University of California by $2,400," said Brown.
That's the ultimatum Brown is delivering to college students across the state. He's urging them to vote yes on Proposition 30 to prevent nearly $6 billion in cuts to education.
CBS13's Koula Gianulius sat down with the governor on-on-one to ask why schools are the target.
