Go Girl Takes On Pink Camouflage For Troops
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The energy drink company Go Girl is launching a special edition can to help our troops.
This May, Go Girl will start selling a pink camouflage can.
The company will donate 25 cents of every case to the Blue Star Moms, a group that supports active duty service personnel.
Riley Bell, the 10-year-old son of the company founder, came up with the idea.
"I was playing 'Call of Duty' one day and I was drinking a Go Girl. And then I died. And I realized people die for us all the time." said Riley explaining how he got the idea. "I told (my mom) I had a great idea for Go Girl. I had this camouflage picture on my iPad. And I said 'Why don't we camouflage our Go Girl can and also give back to our troops.'"
The company started production of the new cans and they will be offered through Veterans Day.
