Gas Prices Up 6 Cents In Past 2 Weeks

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) -- The average U.S. price of a gallon of gasoline is up nearly six cents over the past two weeks.

That's according to the Lundberg Survey of fuel prices, released Sunday, which puts the price of a gallon of regular at $3.67.

Midgrade costs an average of $3.82 a gallon and premium was at $3.93.

Diesel was up three cents, to $3.95 a gallon.

Of the cities surveyed, Tucson had the nation's lowest average price for gas at $3.32. Chicago had the highest at $4.02.

In California, the lowest average price was $3.85 in Fresno and San Diegans paid the highest price at $3.95. The average statewide was $3.92, up about 20 cents.
