Gas Prices Jump Nearly 8 Cents A Gallon
CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) -- The twice-monthly Lundberg Survey has found the price of regular gasoline has risen nearly 8 cents a gallon to $2.99.
The price of mid-grade gasoline is now $3.12 a gallon and premium is $3.23 a gallon, analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday. The U.S. average for diesel was $3.29.
Lundberg said the highest gas price in the country was recorded in San Francisco at $3.29 a gallon. The low, $2.68, was in Denver.
The national increase for regular was 7.59 cents a gallon. Diesel fuel went up 6.24 cents a gallon.
The survey was completed Friday.
