Gas Line May Force School To Close
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A gas pipeline recently revealed to be considered "at-risk" by PG&E may force a Sacramento school to close.
The Twin Rivers Unified School District says a gas line in the area of Harmon Johnson Elementary School was named as a risky pipeline in September.
District officials launched a study to analyze the risks posed by the pipeline and the overall safety of the school, and the results will be given to the school board during a closed session Thursday.
Board members will hear recommendations on what actions to take, which could include closing the school if the situation is too dangerous.
