Gas Leak Forces Evacuation Of Tracy Homes

TRACY (CBS13) - About 100 homes were evacuated in Tracy after a gas leak Wednesday morning.

A construction crew using a backhoe reportedly ruptured the 4-inch line in the neighborhood of Corral Hollow and Kavenau at around 9:30 a.m.

PG&E responded and the line was capped shortly before noon, at which time residents were allowed back in the their homes, according to Tracy Fire.
