Gang Member Arrested For Wedding Reception Stabbing
HALF MOON BAY (AP) — Authorities say a 17-year-old gang member has been arrested in connection with a stabbing two weeks ago at a wedding reception in Half Moon Bay.
The San Jose Mercury News reports the teen was taken into custody Friday on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
The teen, whose name has not been released because of his age, is believed to have been involved in the stabbing of four people after they had left a wedding reception on Jan. 28.
All four were hospitalized after the attack, but have since been released from the hospital.
Investigators say the teen is a member of a criminal street gang that operates in the Half Moon Bay area.
