Folsom School On Lockdown After Armed Robbery At Nearby Outlets Jewelry Store
FOLSOM (CBS13) - Natoma Station Elementary in Folsom was put on voluntary lockdown while officers searched the area for two jewelry store robbers, police say.
Police were searching for two suspects after an armed robbery around noon Friday at Ultra Gold & Diamond, located in the Folsom Premium Outlets shopping center.
At least one gunshot was fired around the store, police say, but no staff members were injured.
The lockdown was lifted around 1:30 p.m. and parents were notified.
It is unknown at this time if police have located the suspects.
