First Superhero Run Kicks Off In Support Of At-Risk Youth
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - It's a bird. It's a plane. No, it's Wind Youth Services at the Superheroes 5K run.
Sunday kicked off the first Superheroes Run held on behalf of at-risk children in the community.
Dads were excited to spend Father's Day with their kids, wearing capes and dressed up as their favorite superhero.
"It's exciting, get the kids to come out and participate with me and the wife. So, it's nice," said parent Alfonso Casias.
The event was sponsored by Capital Road Race Management to support Wind Youth Services and other local non-profits helping kids.
