Firefighters Rescue Hiker Who Fell Into Deep Placer County Washout

SECRET TOWN (CBS13) — Firefighters from Cal Fire and Placer County rescued a hiker who fell 30 feet into a deep washout Friday morning.

Cal Fire officials said the 40-year-old hiker suffered moderate injuries in the fall around 9:40 a.m.

Firefighter access to the hiker in the Secret Town area and rescued him Friday afternoon around 2:48 p.m. He was taken to Auburn Faith Hospital by ambulance.
