Firefighters Injured In Two Residential Fires
FAIR OAKS (CBS13) — A man was killed in one of two fires that left firefighters injured on Monday.
Sac Metro firefighters say a Fair Oaks blaze that engulfed a home on Main Street left a man and his four dogs dead.
Crews found the man inside, but were unable to revive him.
Two firefighters were injured, but are both expected to be OK.
Two firefighters were also injured in a separate fire in south Sacramento.
That fire destroyed several apartments in the complex on Bamford Drive near Mack Road. The families living in that complex are OK.
Both firefighters had minor burns. One had to be transferred to a hospital.
